TILLÄGG TILL AVTAL MELLAN RIVERSIDE RECORDS OCH ROLAND FERNEBORG GÄLLANDE INSPELNINGAR MED EMILE FORD.

Bägge parter är medvetna om de svårigheter det inneburit att kunna nå Emile Ford på någon adress eller telefon/fax-nummer, och båda parter har försökt så gott man kunnat.

Under 1998 och 1999 har Emile Ford sökts under sitt artisnamn och under namnet Michael Telford Millar via tidningen Record Collector, Sensible Studios i England och USA, liksom via internet utan att några framgångar skett.

Bakgrunden till mastertapen som ligger till grund för titlarna i avtalet är följande:

Emile Ford lämnade tapen via ombud till Roland Ferneborg och bad honom hitta ett skivbolag som var intresserade av att ge ut inspelningen. Ferneborg kontaktade då Mill Records som var intresserade att vid ett senare tillfälle ge ut den, men ville avvakta eftersom man den här hösten 1983 redan bundit sig för att ge ut fyra produktioner.

Tapen blev kvar hos Mill Records och föll i glömska ända tills den hittades igen av Riverside Records 1998.

Efter att ha sökt Emile Ford under lång tid tog Riverside under januari 1999 kontakt med Roland Ferneborg i ärendet, dels för att det var genom honom tapen kom från första början och dels för att Roland Ferneborg tidigare gett ut flera produktioner med Emile Ford via Swedisc.

Bägge parter har vid avtalets undertecknande kommit överens om att fortsätta söka efter Emile Ford och underrätta honom om utgivningen och royaltyredovis- ning reserveras till den dag han påträffas, eller att någon annan behörig person i ärendet  som kan styrka sin rättighet att erhålla royaltyn framkommer.

I found this Rider to the agreement covering the 14 titles, which says:

RIDER TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN RIVERSIDE RECORDS AND ROLAND FERNEBORG REGARDING RECORDINGS WITH EMILE FORD.

Both parts are conscious about the difficulties it has meant to reach Emile Ford on any address or telephone/fax-number, and both parts has tried as much they have been able to.

During 1998 and 1999 Emile Ford was searched on his artist-name and on Michael Telford Millar through the magazine Record Collector, Sensible Studios in England and USA, as well as on internet without succeding.

The background to the master tape in the agreement is following:

Emile Ford left the tape through representative to Roland Ferneborg and asked him to find a record company that were interested to release the recordings. Ferneborg contacted Mill Records who were interested to release it later on as they this autumn 1983 already was bound up to release four other productions.

The tape was left at Mill Records out of sheer forgetfulness until it was found again by Riverside Records 1998.

After searching for Emile Ford during long time Riverside contacted Roland Ferneborg in January 1999, as it was through him the master tape came and also because Roland Ferneborg earlier had released several recordings with Emile Ford through Swedisc.

Both parts has at the agreements signing agreed to continue to search for Emile Ford and inform him about the release och royalty statement shall be reserved until the day he will be found, or any other duly qualified person who can confirm his rights to collect the royalty will apear.

I hope you do understand the translation, I have tried my best to do it as correct as possible. Before I was looking through the agreement I did not remember details, but this is correct. And that "representative" must be Carola Lundstrom as she admit that she was the one that gave the tape to Roland Ferneborg, but she will try to remember more and get back in a few days.

I really hope we could find a solution that everybody can except, I am admiring Emile Ford myself and think he is a great artist.
