Ok,
here it comes again!
Owe
Thank you for
prompt reply.
I guess I have
to take time this week to check the mastertape, we gave away the original
master to SLBA (Swedish Picture & Sound Archives) as we copied all our
masters to dat-tapes, but I can lend it from them to check the information.
The master tape has information of recording date, studio and producer, which
is important to notice.
We do have an
agreement covering the recordings between Riverside and Roland Ferneborg,
signed 2000-03-01.
I did reach
Carola Lundstrom and she says that she was Emile Fords contact on Swedisc, so
no doubt that it is so.
Did he really
deny that?
The
circumstances I mentioned are to personal to write to you, but I can talk with
Emile Ford about it and mentioned to you later if he agree to
it.
We talked with
the arranger that engaged Emile Ford in 1990 (Hans Edler) but neither he or we
could reach him on the number that was in his address
book.
Re. the
appearance in Stockholm 2004 I never heard of it, otherwise we should have
contacted him.
So you see in
the end things is not only black or white, I can assure you that if I had
this information earlier I should never released the cd. I have worked 40
years in the record business without getting involved in scandals or lawsuits
and I wish to follow a honest way.
Please let me
have this week to investigate how things really are and we can discuss further
in the beginning of next week.
Best
Regards
Owe
