Dear Sir or Madam,
Kindly note, that we represent Mr Emile Ford.
We have recently become aware of an album produced by you of his works (catalogue number RRCD2108). We are extremely concerned that this album contains track 1-14 that have not been assigned and the copyright resides with our client.
Those compositions are listed as;
1 South of the Border
2 Green green grass of home
3 One time
4 Does my ring hurt your finger
5 There’s always me
6 Blue side of loan some
7 The best I can do
8 Forty shades of green
9 Sunday morning coming down
10 Take good care of her
11 Red red wine
12 Carmen
13 Evening shadows
14 Last thing on my mind.
These compositions presented on your product have not been finally mixed and misrepresent the quality of our clients work, being in their current form sub standard.
All the above compositions are covers of originals works.
These works have never been assigned and our client retains the grand masters.
This is a clear violation of my client rights. We now require the following.
1 An immediate explanation of how these compositions came into the possession of your company.
2 A full accounting of the sales of this record to date.
3 A full offer of compensation.
I await you full explanation and offer of compensation.
Yours Sincerely
John Murray-Smith
