Dear Sir,

I am writing to you on behalf of Mr. Emile Ford in reply to your email addressed to
Definite Records (a copy of which is attached) and I would like to advise you that we are in contact with our lawyers regarding this matter.

I would further like to advise you that we will be seeking compensation for the fourteen stolen tracks released on the Riverside Records label which have never been assigned. The fourteen tracks took years to develop and produce and were not meant for release. These songs were recorded as a tribute to Mr. Ford’s mother, but unfortunately she died in 1995 before they had been completed. They were an investment for the future.

Sample tracks in their uncompleted form can be heard on the Sound Revelation Services website, www.soundrevelation.co.uk which are far better than those that were stolen and demonstrates the fact that the recording released on the Riverside label was unfinished and therefore undermines Mr. Ford’s ability.

Yours faithfully,

Christine Jones
Sound Revelation Services Agency

Ps. you will find that the person who is receiving payment for the release of this recording is the thief.

Thank you for your fax regarding Emile Ford.

We released the album in 2000 after searching for Mr. Emile Ford in two years on different addresses and earlier telephone numbers without result. In fact we used the master tape that Emile Ford himself handed over to Mrs. Carola Lundstrom in late 70-ies, but it´s a long complicatd story to tell and I am only writing to give you an answer that I have received your fax and will get back to you during the week after looking over sales and royalty due, etc.

I am really happy to hear he is found at last.

With best and kind regards

Owe Midner
